7 Bogus Health Tips
|
Lately, Americans have spent so much time debating the ins and outs of health care reform that they have forgotten the single most important fact that has been largely forgotten in this health care crisis: personal health starts at home.
Unless Americans make an effort to eat a healthy diet, get plenty of exercise, schedule routine checkups and take preventive steps against illness, even the greatest health care system in the world won't be able to dig the United States out of its current health care crisis.
With this in mind, an article from LiveScience.com recently compiled a list of common health tips that are, well, bogus. In one example, the article argues that multivitamins, once thought to be the answer to everyone's prayers, aren't necessarily good (or bad) for the general population.
Give the article a look--it could help you stay healthy.
