Cat Tests Positive for H1N1 Swine Flu

A few weeks back, our Can Your Dog Give You the Flu? post asked if dogs can transmit the flu to humans. And now, a cat has contracted the H1N1 flu virus--courtesy of a human being.

The 13-year-old cat looked lethargic and had trouble breathing, and was diagnosed with H1N1--the first such diagnosis in a feline. It is unknown if pets can transmit the virus to humans.
